Last Sunday we noticed something, and have been noticing it ever since. During sacrament meeting, Cambria was kicking her leg during one of the hymns. She was kicking almost exactly on beat. She has an exersaucer that plays music and she LOVES hearing the music! When the music plays, she bounces... again, almost exactly to the beat. I have no idea if that's normal for a baby to do, but I feel like she gets it... she's got rhythm. :)
That's so cute! Babies are amazing...
ReplyDeleteI don't remember if our babies showed rhythm at that age or not.
There is proof now that babies can be taught to speak even in the womb. With all of the music you have been involved in it isn't difficult to believe that she has a musical talent and has rhythm!! She certainly inherited it from her mother, grandfather, and great grandfather and great, great grandfather on the Fletcher side. I don't know about her other relatives but for certain on our side.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear it. Thank you. Love you all. Grandma F.
Cambria does have rich musical genetics... My dad - her great grandpa Bingham has a wonderful voice and used to sing in operettas and musicals when he was young. Both my mom and dad enjoy singing in the choir. Our parents made sure all the kids had music education - both playing the piano and additional instruments. Jonathan has cousins also with beautiful performance voices.... Can't wait to hear Cambria's when she starts to sing along with you!
