The carseat cover that I made for my friend got to her yesterday, so that means I can post pictures of it! I was really nervous about how it turned out, but she said she loves it... so that's all that matters.

I find that with every project I do, I'm more and more happy with the outcome. It's like I'm getting better or something :). The only problem with that is that I'm always the one with the worst of my projects, I guess I'd rather that then someone else having to be stuck with them.
It is beautiful and will serve the purpose. Hope she doesn't have to use it in the heat or maybe it is not that hot down there, but it will certainly be nice to have in the fall and winter. You are very talented!!! Love you all. Grandma F.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Did you pick the fabric or did she? I think it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThank you! She told me she wanted grey chevron and said "I trust you" about any other colors or patterns. So, I looked on etsy at other chevron things and saw that a similar pattern was often paired with chevron. I also facebook stalked her, and saw that she wears a lot of yellow, and flowers, so I chose that.
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm so impressed by how thoroughly you did your research. Never would have thought of doing that. But then when you're given free artistic reign, you gotta find something to go with...
ReplyDeleteSuper-cute!
