Last night we went to a Mediterranean restaurant. As I was looking up the menu (so that I could google the items I didn't know what they were) I saw that they had moussaka. Immediately I had a quote from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" go through my head. If you want to know what I'm talking about go here and skip to 3:00 in the clip.
I really wanted to try it... turns out it was my favorite thing that we ordered.

[caption id="attachment_527" align="aligncenter" width="640"] This was our Sausage stuffed Pepper. It had wild rice in it as well. This was also tasty.[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_528" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Lamb Kababs with couscous. The first few bites were AMAZING, but the last few parts were pretty gristly which was disappointing.[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_529" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Tortilla Espanola - it was yummy, but I was only able to take one bite... I was so full[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_530" align="aligncenter" width="640"] he may or may not have been done taking pictures...[/caption]

Holy cow. I'm salivating while I'm looking at these pictures. It was such a wonderful anniversary dinner.
MMMMM.... But where is Cambria?
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was delicious! We left Cambria with some very nice friends of ours.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought you were celebrating Passover, with the lamb and stuff. You're pretty adventurous! I'm proud of you.
