So I have been told once my baby turned 3 months she'll start to be able to do a lot more things. So I was anticipating her to develop a lot... but man! She's growing up so fast! I feel like things are happening over night! Yesterday, for example, she grabbed a stuffed animal for the first time! I swear, the day before she was barley figuring out how to move her arms. All of the sudden she's coordinated enough to open her arms, open her hands, close her arms, then close her fingers around the toy, move her arms to her mouth and slobber on the toy! Since when did she figure that out?!?
I was looking at her today, and I think she has grown a ton overnight too! She looks so much older than she did a couple days ago.
Crazy stuff! (I'll post pictures and videos either here or on Facebook soon)

Good Insurance
I have really awesome insurance! I'm so grateful for that. Last Monday I did something kinda dumb and I heard my neck pop out of place. It kind of hurt, but it wasn't too bad. I figured that since I have awesome insurance, I might as well go to the chiropractor. My neck isn't something to just not fix.
When I went to the chiropractor she also found that I have a slight sway back, and she told me that I should be aware of that, because it can cause problems later on if I don't support my lower back, especially since I'm a woman and will probably get pregnant again at some point. She also jokingly told me I have boulders on my shoulders, which causes my slightly frequent headaches. Wow... the things you learn when you go to the doctor.
I'm just really grateful that because of my insurance I can feel ok with going to the doctor for small issues, and make sure I'm taking care of my body properly.

Rollie-Polie!
Cambria rolled over for the first time yesterday! I thought it might have been a fluke but she did it three more times. Woah! We have a roller on our hands!
PS. For those interested it was from her back to her tummy... I think we'll now be spending a lot more time doing tummy time :)

Big News!!
No... I'm not pregnant ;)
We are going to be homeowners!!! We put an offer on a house (not the one we put an offer on three months ago... a different one)! We like it better than the other one, and it's in a better neighborhood, and it's across the street from a good friend! We couldn't be more excited!! (ok... if the house were free that would probably make us more excited :) )
It's not in writing yet, but it should be before the end of the day! We are so excited!!!
go here (probably not for very long... because it's SOLD!!!!!) for pictures and stuff :)
We are so happy!! And the accent wall is even in our color scheme! How awesome is that!!!??!!!!

Feast or Famine
Why is it that it's not uncommon to have major decisions come up all at the same time?
Within this last week, I was offered a job (from the place that I REALLY wanted to work at last year), we were seriously house shopping (which is a bunch of little major decisions every time you look at a house), and... a few other things that I can't think of at the moment.
After a lot of prayer and a trip to the temple, I have declined the job, and we're putting an offer on a house we really REALLY like. Fewf. I'm glad it's winding down.

adjusting
I was thinking during aerobics today (while I was really tired) how much of an adjustment having a baby is. There are a lot of things to adjust to, but the expectation of energy is one I never really thought much about.
For 9 months people will baby you, and offer to get you things, and if you ask for something, people are so willing to help! Then right after you have a baby it's almost impossible (for me at least) to get the things that I wanted/needed. So I asked for A LOT of help. But... it's been three months, and now I need to be the one jumping off my chair to help others out, and now I need to have the energy to get the things I want/need, and not expect someone else to do it for me. I need to get back into the habit of grocery shopping, and laundry.
Just a thought.

Infertility Sucks!
I don't often use that word, I save it for things that are really lame... ya, it's fitting.
I just found out ANOTHER friend of mine is struggling with infertility! That makes 8 couples that we know of. All of these couples are fairly young, and have been struggling for longer than a year, most of them have been struggling for two years or longer. It just makes me so sad, probably because I know a little of their pain, kind of.
For all of you friends that are struggling, both those we know of and those we don't, we're praying for you daily. For those of you that we know of, we pray for you by name. I wish there were more we could do...
I think one of the main reasons it's so hard is because there's nothing that a couple can do to fix their situation. (yes there's fertility treatment, but that's not guaranteed to work) It's one of those things that you truly have to rely fully on the Savior, which is really painful sometimes. Submitting our will to His isn't easy... well at least it wasn't for me.
I just feel so bad for those couples that are struggling. My heart goes out to you!

Cutest Video thus far
We got The. Cutest. Video. But... it's too big to add here. Check out my facebook for it :) But here are some cute pictures. Enjoy :)
[caption id="attachment_548" align="aligncenter" width="640"] This was Cambria's first time outside (well, outside of her carseat) I have gone to the park a lot, but I hadn't ever taken her out of the carseat. She loved the contrast of the umbrella![/caption]

Ahhh - It feels so good!
Jonathan helped me clean the bedroom tonight. It's been something that I have wanted to get to since Cambria was born (don't judge... it's taking longer to get on my feet than I would like). I had started several times, but it was just a feat that needed some assistance. We got it all cleaned and organized and every time I walk in the bedroom now I just sigh a breath of relief. It's amazing how a clean environment can change how you feel.
tomorrow's task... organize the drawers/cupboards in the kitchen.

Cambria's smile caught on video!
Well... I have been trying for quite a few days to get Cambria's cute smile and pre-laugh on camera. I finally got it today! Just thought I'd share 13 May 8 2013, here's a shorter one, super cute! telling me stories.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Bieber Fever
The other day Jonathan was holding Cambria. As he was playing with her he started singing "Baby, baby, baby, oooh!" and Cambria just smiled and smiled! She has done it several times since the first time too...
Uh-oh... we've got a mild case of Bieber fever in the house...

Tender Mercies
I have been trying to get an appointment in with a doctor for about a week. I called the one that my doctor recommended and she didn't have any openings available, but she did give me the info of a few others that could help. I called them and didn't get a hold of one, and the other didn't have any openings either.
This morning I had the feeling to call the original doctor and see if she had any cancellations I called and told her my situation, that I couldn't get in with the other people she recommended and was wondering if she had any cancellations. Turns out she had someone call today and cancel for tomorrow morning! I'm so grateful that I followed that prompting to call again.

Niecephews influence
Jonathan said something to me at dinner that was a quote from a nephew of ours... I realized that we often quote our nieces and nephews long after they stop saying whatever it is that we are quoting.
Some quotes we say are as follows:
"ok! Bye-bye" - Hyrum
"Seeslee?" - Aiden
"I Lah-Loo" - Malaki
...just to name a few.

Moose Ca-ca
Last night we went to a Mediterranean restaurant. As I was looking up the menu (so that I could google the items I didn't know what they were) I saw that they had moussaka. Immediately I had a quote from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" go through my head. If you want to know what I'm talking about go here and skip to 3:00 in the clip.
I really wanted to try it... turns out it was my favorite thing that we ordered.
[caption id="attachment_526" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Here's the moussaka. It's ground lamb with egg plant. Served with toasted pitas. SO GOOD![/caption]
[caption id="attachment_527" align="aligncenter" width="640"] This was our Sausage stuffed Pepper. It had wild rice in it as well. This was also tasty.[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_528" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Lamb Kababs with couscous. The first few bites were AMAZING, but the last few parts were pretty gristly which was disappointing.[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_529" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Tortilla Espanola - it was yummy, but I was only able to take one bite... I was so full[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_530" align="aligncenter" width="640"] he may or may not have been done taking pictures...[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_531" align="aligncenter" width="640"] mmm.... :)[/caption]
Holy cow. I'm salivating while I'm looking at these pictures. It was such a wonderful anniversary dinner.
